Hi Gregg,
WebBizIdeas.com will helping you promote InvenTube.com from this thread. You already have started promoting but we are going to back up to step 1 to ensure we haven't missed anything.

Hi Gregg,
Step 1 is determining (1) ALL competitors (2) Keywords you want InvenTube.com to be #1 for. Can you list ALL competition you know of & the keywords you want to target? Jeff

Hi,
Thank you providing me that information. You are 10 steps ahead of most website owners by knowing your main keywords & competitors. Now what we want to do is break down your main keywords into sub-categories & keyword phrases. Please open the zip file I attached and open up the excel sheet. I use this format for many internet businesses I promote. The tabs at the bottom our your main keywords & the green highlighted rows are your main sub-categories. What I want you to do is use SEOBOOK Free keyword Research Tool to 'fine tune' your initial keyword research. Seo Book Keyword Suggestion Tool All you need to do is type in a keyword, like "invention," and press submit. It will show the top keyword phrases users type into Google, Yahoo, and MSN. What I want you to do is type in each of your main keywords & sub-categories (already in your excel sheet) into SEOBOOK tool. Then I want you to copy & paste the results into the attached exel sheet. I want you to include almost ALL results. Unless you say, "I would NEVER want a person searching for this keyword phrase to visit my website," the keyword phrase should be added into the excel sheet. Take your time to organize the excel sheet. You will find new sub-categories and sometimes new main keywords as you go complete your research. After we will determine how many other websites are also trying to be #1 for these keywords. ***TIP #1: Use the export tool to make it easier ***TIP #2: copying the results into Notepad, then into excel works great too. Post any questions.

Hi Gregg,
The next step is determining how many web pages are competing for the same keyword phrases you determined. Just as an Inventor invents a gadget that fill a void you want find highly trafficked keywords that lack the competition and fill that void. A free way to do this is SEOCHAT Keyword Density Tool. This tool will tell you how difficult it is to rate for your keywords. The higher the percentage the higher the difficulty...i.e. more web pages that relate to that same subject. I will be honest, this becomes VERY tedious work. I usually pay someone to do this. If I do it myself I try my hardest to check every keyword but I usually don't. I make sure I check ALL the high trafficked keywords & the keyword phrases I would REALLY like to be number one for. ![]() NOTE: By no means will you use/target every keyword in this excel sheet. At times it may seem pointless to check ALL the keywords. But if you spend the time you will find "those diamonds in the rough." Usually I am promoting a client's website on a budget and finding a keyword that receives 30-40 searches a day that has little competition can be a GREAT opportunity! NOTE #2: Just because a keyword is "searched 30-40 times a day DOES NOT mean you will receive 30-40 clicks...it just means that the search estimates are 30-40. After this we will start getting into more exciting tasks ![]()

Hi,
This may be some bad advice to give but I usually cut corners. I will either pay someone else to do it or set a limit. For example I may say I will check all keywords with above 25 or 50 searches a day. I have not found a bulk tool that will do this research. Jeff

Hi,
Well I go through this...did any keyword phrases stand out for you? Any high trafficked keyword phrases with low competition that you feel you could target? Any categories / common keyword phrases that jumped out to you? Jeff
